The Waiting Place

The Waiting Place...

...for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring
, or the snow to snow
or waiting around for a Yes or a No
or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite
or waiting for wind to fly a kite
or waiting around for Friday night
or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake
or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
or a sting of pearls, or a pair of pants
or a wig with curls, or Another Chance.
Everyone is just waiting.

We are waiting for June 26th when our USCIS birth parents interview will take place. After the interview, we will receive immigration approval and then a Visa appointment will be scheduled. Our children will have a medical exam and will attend their visa appointment. Then, once the visa is issued and printed, we will be notified that we can travel to get our kids.

Closer and closer....

Feels though that it keeps getting pushed back bit by bit.... no worries - soon you will have them in your arms and the frustration of the wait will melt away (this I pray). As you have said before they are in good hands while you wait (God's hands). =)

Gail, that is one of our favorite books in our home.

I am so sorry your interview wasn't done sooner, It is hard when you know you are just waiting for something to happen.

If you want to talk about what it is like when the kids come home, make sure to prepare yourself....it is overwhelming. Make some meals to freeze this month, and arrange for help.

I'm so sorry you have to wait on this. I know it's hard because you just want your other children home, but do treasure these last few weeks as a family of four.

Hugs and Prayers! ;o)

A set date is better than being left hanging. It is something to aim for and now you have an idea about when you might (finally!!) be traveling!
Tina and the crew; also waiting
